BioPrecision's lab is the product of a rare alignment — a university athletic department and its commercialization partners, all pulling in the same direction. These are the relationships that bring world-class baseball biomechanics to Morgantown, and beyond.
WVU's commercialization and revenue arm led the agreement that established BioPrecision as a commercial partner — expanding elite-performance access for athletes while reinvesting in WVU Athletics and innovation born in Morgantown.
The OIC licensed select WVU-developed technologies to BioPrecision — including work by Dr. Courtney Semkewyc through the WVU School of Sport Sciences — supporting continued research translation and strengthening the region's sports-tech ecosystem.
New services — energy and metabolism, cognitive function, and inflammation and recovery — roll out with additional partners through 2026, extending BioPrecision beyond biomechanics into the complete athlete.
