Jacob Emerson

A former pitching coach at the collegiate level, Jacob Emerson serves as BioPrecision's director of pitching. He combines the principles of biomechanics, ball-flight data, and motor preferences to make the player development process as individualized as possible.

Most recently, Emerson was the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Concord University, whose staff compiled 288 strikeouts — 7th all-time in school history. Prior to joining Concord, he served in those same roles at Bluefield State University, which won the HBCU World Series and a program best 33 games. As a player, Emerson spent four years at the University of Sioux Falls and finished his collegiate pitching career at Bluefield State University. Combined, he made 37 appearances with a 2.44 K/BB ratio and 2.4 BB/9.

Emerson follows in the footsteps of his uncle, Scott Emerson, who has coached in the big leagues since 2014, including 9 years as pitching coach for Major League Baseball's Athletics.
